Brenda 03:53
Yea! You’ve got to trust me if you will I hope that you will love me still I never thought I’d find the girl that I want And I don’t mean a trampoline but I felt you from the jump Our meeting was accidental I just spoke and tried to cheer you up Swore I hit the sky cause when you smiled my brain clouded up I’d do anything to tell my peers that you were mine Even if I had to lie about some things at the time It was worth it, to prove that I was worthy like James Until the time came for me to catch another plane but I can’t You make me want to settle So I’ll skip the pool until my food reaches my intestines Confusion is expected I’m confused on many levels All I know is I just want to be with you forever and ever But secrets are the arm pit of the devil Excuse the smell inside of my cardigan sweater I’ll just start it from the header I love you but I need to take your hand a be a man So you can understand things aint going as I planned cause Chorus 2x: The way I feel for you is real The truth I cannot keep concealed You’ve got to trust me if you will I hope that you will love me still It seems my demons catching up I guess insomnia and paranoia aint enough You’re the only person that I feel I can trust And I hope you feel the same and if you don’t that would suck What I have to tell you, will really test our love Your heart can either be crushed or stand up stronger than a tusk On an elephant but that’s irrelevant What is relevance? It’s simply something that someone decides to find and say it is With that said I’ll just get right into it I’m not a doctor lawyer not a pilot or Lutheran A catholic or a Baptist not a rican nor am I jewish Some of that I didn’t say but here is my conclusion I’m not exactly who you thought but we can hit the reset Cause life without you’s harder than mixing vocals without presets Meet me at the airport so we can end the game By the way, Kevin Williams Jr. is my name. Gone! Chorus 2x Sample Bridge: Brenda I don’t want to lie to you anymore, I’m not a doctor I never went to Medical school I’m not a lawyer or a Harvard Graduate or a Lutheran A name, right, A name it doesn’t matter. My name is Frank Conners, that’s who I am with you but we all have secrets I have enough money to last us for the rest of ours lives, Look Hay! Chorus 2x Sample Outro: We can live anywhere we want, but you have to trust me Brenda, Do you trust me? Do you love me Brenda?

Verse 1 Travel the world and I’m sure you’ll never find A more unique downtown like mine You talk about the crime and I talk about the unity You want something to do it’s usually (Downtown) Of course we have a long way to go We can’t reach where we never been doing all the things we did before We’re planting new businesses and then we watch them grow What you need let me know it’s probably (Downtown) You might think it’s cheese but please you don’t want beef Cause my rhymes will wrap you up faster than gyros at The Greek Our music scene will rock yours and leave it in the street That’s including North Macon, West & the East but Downtown is where it’s poppin at When you drive through Middle Georgia this is where you’re stopping at Chain stores are everywhere this is where you shoppin at Atlanta took the crown it’s feeling like we got it back every time I’m…. Sample Chorus: Downtown, never felt so alive Downtown, we will be waiting for you (You know this is just my opinion, you can come downtown and see it for yourself. So don’t hit me on Facebook with none of that nonsense haha) Verse 2 If Cherry Street had a league then my would be in the rafters I’m the hardest workin artist put whoever after This whole bar will vouche for me And if I’m too drunk then they gotta couch for me (Downtown) Shout out to all the people that’s from here but never claim it And now they’re no longer famous so their hometown is changing You was standin tall and now your career is plankin Insert hashtag I’m just sayin Thank You Petula, but we didn’t have to use ya I just want people to look at Macon less peculiar Like we aren’t the home of the Capricorn records And now we got Clark and all of Macon Noise Records cause Downtown is where it’s poppin at When you drive through Middle Georgia this is where you’re stopping at Chain stores are everywhere this is where you shoppin at Atlanta took the crown it’s feeling like we got it back every time I’m…. Sample Chorus: Downtown, never felt so alive Downtown, we will be waiting for you (G!Man watup, It’s nothing like that gold ol fashion hometown pride) Verse 3 Yall can build clones, we build legends Make sure you hit that exit keep your mind in the present We think out of the box keep the outsiders guessing You trying to take over you’ll learn a valuable lesson We’ve kicked out scam entertainment groups And it’s hot you’ll need something to change into We’ve gotta real bookstore where I go to get my knowledge I’m really talkin to girls that go to Mercer College Cardigans and Candy flats She just transferred in asking where we party at And what’s FML, and why it don’t mean what she think So I lead her on a walk for a drink I already know that Downtown is where it’s poppin at When you drive through Middle Georgia this is where you’re stopping at Chain stores are everywhere this is where you shoppin at Atlanta took the crown it’s feeling like we got it back every time I’m…. Sample Chorus: Downtown, never felt so alive Downtown, we will be waiting for you (Hands in the air everybody, keep em up for me one time. FLOCO!)

Catch Me 04:04
Hour 9,114 Bridge: So please forgive me, for what I do and what I’ve done But I won’t stop until this battle is won You live by the sword and die by the gun I’m on the run, run, run, run Chorus: Catch Me, Catch Me, Catch Me, If you can (Repeat) Verse: Catch me if you can, if you do then I applaud If you don’t then I don’t fault because I never said you ought to There’s been times in my life that I felt I had no one to talk to So I hustle like my coach would tell me if I tried to walk through My drive is so un-matched I will not stall till I lay flat Buy your way in to pay it back That’s a way I cannot hack I’m here to ball and not get hacked So secure with all my raps I believe in what I have I understand it makes you mad I’m running from the fame but I’m sprinting towards stability Arthritis in your hand, your words hold no validity So now you know there are no time for daps Just catch me out when I get back and then you’ll try and ask how to Chorus: 2x Verse: Baby I’m gone, headed towards my 10,000th Hour And I aint use all of the 48 laws of power I followed every code and disguised my approach You see who I left behind I can’t believe we ever spoke Cause I’m turned up and they turned down and I’m doing good and they broke And my flows tight and I’m rocking out at every single one of these shows So why I’m worried what they say about me Let’s see what all these dummies do without me, go tell em Chorus: 4x I said we can’t stop wont stop headed to the top 4x Verse: Cause I’m on one but no light switch can out light this and you like this Give me thumbs up it’s no Facebook I aint type this I life this I mean live this, you can talk shit Leave it on the desk at the office Cause they train of thoughts plane and I’m in my own lane If you think you’re feeling the same then tell em to Chorus: 6x I said we can’t stop wont stop headed to the top 6x It’s funny, when you look at your watch and see what hour you on, and look at their watch and you see what hour you on And you wonder why they talking? Hahahahaha You better get to work, 10,000 Hours baby we on the way

about

“10,000 Hours” was released on November 15th, 2011. The EP was a result of winning the Gateway Macon Music competition & a 25K prize package. The “10,000 Hours” comes from a concept known as the “10,000 Hour” rule. The rule states that you must have practiced for at least 10,000 Hours to become good at something. Malcom Gladwell, a writer and influential speaker, made the rule popular on a larger scale with his book “Outliers”. Production on the EP includes G!ManFantastic (Currently in transit via The Spaceship) & YFame (Philadelphia). The EP was executive produced by Steve Moretti.
