'Everest' was originally created back in 2017 during the NCN sessions, I had played this piano part out but I didn't like my version so I asked Egan (Operations) to play it for me. I wanted to make something that inspires the resilient attitude I try to keep. It never made the album but it did hang around in a collection of songs (Grey Skies) I was working on for a joint album with him, so we continued to co-produce this record slowly along with the other songs.

We should be presenting that full project pretty soon, but for now I hope you enjoy this one.
